Your Appearance in Court
This court utilizes a daily Walk-In Docket. Defendants have the ability to
come in and enter pleas, make payments or other arrangements with the court
during office hours.
Please Note:
The Judge CANNOT discuss the merits of your case. If you need assistance, please contact an attorney.
-
Juvenile defendants (under 17) must appear in person, and with a parent.
-
Minors (under 21) with Alcohol offenses must appear in person.
Payment
Payment may be made by check or money order, mailed to the address above, or online using the payment button on this screen. In person payments are made at the Utility Billing Desk in City Hall. Payment without seeing the judge will result in a plea of No Contest and a conviction being entered on your record.
The court may provide an alternative to the full payment of any fine or costs assessed against you, if you are convicted of an offense and unable to pay the full amount.
Dismissals
You may be able to require that your charge be dismissed by successfully completing a driver safety course or motorcycle operator training course. Restrictions on this ability include defendants with commercial driver's licenses, speeds of 95mph or more, or 25mph over the limit.
Deferred Disposition may also be available on a case by case basis. Specific terms and conditions will be set by the judge.
